Based in Melbourne, Fiona McGauchie is a valued advisor on CEO succession, assessment, and development of future leaders and other senior leadership challenges. Her legal background has given her deep expertise in legal, regulatory, and compliance matters as well as CFOs and human resources. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Fiona practiced law with the Australian law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where she specialized in public-private partnership infrastructure and other major government projects. Earlier, she was an in-house counsel and transformation project leader at Linfox, a family-owned Australian logistics company. Fiona began her career with Minter Ellison Lawyers.
Fiona earned a law degree (with honors) and a Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School. Fiona and her partner have two sons, and they all share a passion for Australian Rules Football and the arts, especially theater. She sits on the board of the Western Bulldogs Football Club and chairs Melbourne’s Malthouse Theatre.
