Bernardus Holtrop, a Mobius Senior Consultant, has worked for 15 years with Fortune 100 companies, supporting them to achieve their highest potential. As a Leadership Development facilitator, a Team Effectiveness specialist and a one-on-one Executive Coach, Bernardus is passionate about listening deeply to people. He enjoys designing leadership development programs that foster business transformation, and work with teams to bring them to their next level of performance. In the last five years Bernardus has been leading many Leadership Development journeys, staying close with his clients over time to ensure sustained impact.
Before joining Mobius, Bernardus worked at McKinsey & Company for five years as learning program manager, designer, facilitator and coach with McKinsey Partner Learning. He developed and ran CST Learning, a program for the leadership of Client Service Teams, helping them to define and realize their ideal client service and team work. He also managed CLW III, the core Partner Learning program for senior Partners to help them become better trusted counselors and define their role as CST leaders. Bernardus regularly facilitates CLWI programs, helping APs and new Principals to move from problem solving leaders to client leaders.
Bernardus was a consultant with McKinsey for six years before joining Partner Learning, mainly working in the banking, insurance and energy sectors, with a strong interest in organizational work. Bernardus pursued his passion for consultant development already then by co-developing a program to help consultants be better coaches to their clients on longer (transformational) programs.
Prior to that work, Bernardus worked with the TNO Institute for Applied Physics as an image processing systems designer and project manager. He has an MBA in General Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, and a MSc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente. He is a certified MMS transformational life coach, coach, helping individuals create breakthroughs in their personal and professional lives.
Bernardus lives with his wife Erica and son Tijmen in Amstelveen, The Netherlands, while business travel brings him US regularly.
